| | | Completely different experience! | GSK22 Commerce, Georgia | Completely different experience! Felt like we were being welcomed into someones home. Large king suite, excellent restaurant, staff that catered to our every need. Wonderful amenities, soft drinks, cookies, gourment coffee, microwave pop corn, fruit, etc available in lobby. We will stay there anytime we are in the area. |
| | I went to this restaurant | 02/14/2011 | I was taking my boyfriend to Hilltop for Valentine's Day, not knowing anything at all about the restaurant. He is from England, and boast about being authentically English, I knew he would know if it was. The entire experience was wonderful. From the atmosphere to the service to the food, simply outstanding!!! My boyfriend was thrilled to be reminded of England, and I can't rave enough about the entire experience. |

March 8th: For the Love of Tea and Sherry. These are both a familiar tradition in England. However, it might be that you have not enjoyed sherry before, and have only vague memories of your Grandma drinking it, for sherry has never held the Americans’ attention as much as beer, wine, whiskey or tea. To help broaden its appeal, we will be serving 3 of sherry’s most common expressions (dry, medium and cream) paired with a full high tea service and pastries, so that you may sample them and conclude for yourself whether sherry has a home in your liquor cabinet.
This event will be $38, and includes tax and gratuity. Due to the subject of this event, attendees must be a minimum of 21yrs of age.
April 5th: An Easter Eggstravaganza. This event is all about The Christian Celebration of Easter and the traditional cakes and pastries served in Europe. Enjoy a 45 minute presentation by The English Tea Nanny, in full Victorian Costume, as she tells us all about the History of Tea in Europe. The tea will close with an egg hunt for the young... AND the young at heart.
